Holistic Therapy Services Announced at Solstice Spirituality: Workplace Abuse & Relational Trauma Recovery

Healing from workplace bullying, emotional abuse, and relational trauma is rarely straightforward, yet it is always possible. As my holistic wellbeing business evolves, I am dedicating my therapeutic work to supporting survivors through compassionate, trauma-informed approaches that help rebuild safety, self-trust, resilience, and hope for the future.

HOLISTIC THERAPY

As I have reflected on my own experiences a little more recently, I have gained clarity about the direction I want my holistic therapy practice to take. This is in addition to the spiritual life coaching services I offer.

Going forward, my holistic therapy work will focus on supporting people recovering from workplace abuse and bullying, as well as those healing from relational trauma, including emotional and narcissistic abuse in romantic relationships.

This isn't simply a change in focus - it's a commitment to helping people who have often felt unheard, dismissed, or left questioning their own reality in a way that combines my lived experienced with trauma-informed evidence-based therapeutic techniques.

Understanding the Hidden Impact of Abuse

Many people think of trauma as something that only results from major life events (PTSD). In reality, trauma can develop through repeated experiences of intimidation, manipulation, criticism, exclusion, or emotional harm (C-PTSD).

Workplace bullying is one example. Whether it takes the form of public humiliation, intimidation, gaslighting, impossible expectations, or persistent undermining, the effects on your mental health, nervous system, and body can be profound. What may begin as 'just stress at work' can gradually lead to anxiety, burnout, loss of confidence, depression, sleep difficulties, and even physical health problems. In some cases, it leads to C-PTSD (Complex Post Traumatic Stress Disorder).

For many people, leaving the workplace does not immediately end the impact. The nervous system often remains on high alert long after the situation has ended (even years later), making it incredibly difficult to trust, relax, or feel safe in future workplace environments.

Relational trauma can have similarly lasting effects. Emotional abuse and narcissistic relationships often erode a person's sense of identity over time. Constant criticism, manipulation, blame-shifting, or emotional invalidation can leave individuals doubting themselves and feeling disconnected from who they truly are. These experiences are deeply painful, but they are also understandable responses to prolonged emotional harm.

My Trauma-Informed Holistic Approach

Healing from abuse is about far more than simply 'moving on'. It involves gently rebuilding safety within the mind and body, understanding trauma responses, restoring self-trust, and reconnecting with personal strengths that may have been buried beneath fear, shame, or self-doubt. It also involves healing the nervous system and managing chronic health symptoms.

This is where my holistic therapy can make a meaningful difference.

My approach is trauma-informed, meaning that safety, choice, and compassion are central to every session. I draw on a range of holistic approaches that recognise the connection between your mind, body, and emotions. Sessions may incorporate mindfulness, relaxation and grounding techniques, cognitive and emotional strategies, nervous system regulation, and practical tools that help clients regain confidence and resilience at their own pace.

Creating a Safe Space for Recovery

One of the most important parts of healing is having a space where you no longer have to explain or justify what happened to you.

Many survivors of workplace bullying or emotional abuse have been told they were 'too sensitive', 'overreacting', or made to feel they were the problem when reacting to their poor behaviour. These messages can deepen feelings of isolation and self-doubt.

My aim is to provide a supportive, non-judgemental environment where your experiences are heard, your emotions are respected, and your recovery is guided by your own pace - not by anyone else's expectations. Healing doesn't mean forgetting what happened. It means reducing its power over your daily life and rediscovering the confidence, peace, and sense of self that may have been lost along the way.

New Therapy Programmes Coming Soon!

I am incredibly excited about this new chapter and the opportunity to support people navigating the often-overlooked effects of workplace and relational trauma.

These online therapeutic programmes are designed for people who:

- Cannot afford regular 1:1 therapy.
- Prefer private, independent learning over speaking with a therapist.
- Live with C-PTSD/chronic illness and find cognitive processing difficult in live/in-person/group sessions.

Key Aspects:

- No assignments, no homework, no group discussions, and no 1-1 sessions in these programmes.
- Self-paced to be mindful of your nervous system and individual healing journeys.
- Users complete modules and exercises independently, at their own pace, via computer or phone.
- Modules will cover understanding abuse and its health effects, trauma responses, preventing burnout, recognising patterns of behaviour, building long-term resilience, boundaries, and self-trust, and finding purpose and identity beyond trauma.

Therapeutic Approach:

My therapeutic approach will be Trauma-Informed (an awareness of what trauma can do to the brain and body + conditions like C-PTSD).

- Holistic techniques will include grounding, nervous system regulation, and spiritual healing practices where appropriate.
- Primary focus: Cognitive processing and holistic nervous system healing.

These programmes are designed so users can pause and regulate themselves whenever they become emotionally overwhelmed, and go back to the material whenever they like.

If you've experienced workplace bullying, emotional abuse, narcissistic relationships, or other forms of relational trauma, I want you to know that healing is possible. Recovery is not about becoming the person you were before your experiences - it is about becoming the person you are now, with greater self-awareness, resilience, and self-compassion.

This new direction reflects not only my professional development but also my passion for helping people reclaim their lives after psychological and emotional harm. I look forward to walking alongside those who are ready to begin that journey toward healing, empowerment, and hope.
